The 18th edition of the “Day of Liberal Professions in Romania” Conference

On November 5, 2025, CNRED participated in the 18th edition of the “Day of Liberal Professions in Romania” Conference, organized by the Union of Liberal Professions of Romania and dedicated to the theme “Innovation and Artificial Intelligence.”

The event aimed to to raise awareness among professional organizations and public authorities about the importance of Artificial Intelligence for the future of  liberal professions, to highlight its major challenges while preserving the human element, and to identify the most effective ways for these organizations to integrate AI tools into their activities.  

In its capacity as the National Coordinator for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications, CNRED emphasized that, from the perspective of regulated liberal professions, professional organizations must implement actions to facilitate, expand and further modernize the recognition processes for regulated professions, especially by leveraging digital tools. In a society marked by the continuous mobility of professionals at both national and European levels, the implementation of existing European digital tools, such as the Single Digital Gateway and the Internal Market Information System, and participation in new pilot projects that aim to use Artificial Intelligence in the recognition of professional qualifications open up greater opportunities for workers and businesses to fully harness the potential of the Single Market.
