Romania maintains excellent results in the country report for the IMI System
The European Commission recently published a new edition of the Single Market and Competitiveness Scoreboard – https://single-market-scoreboard.ec.europa.eu/, with performance indicators for the Internal Market Information System (IMI) for the period December 2024 – November 2025 – https://single-market-scoreboard.ec.europa.eu/enforcement-tools/internal-market-information-system-imi_en :
On the dedicated country report page, the excellent results achieved by Romania across all indicators in the latest reporting period are highlighted through an interactive graph. These results significantly reflect the information exchanges related to the Professional Qualifications module, coordinated by the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas :
The IMI System is used in Romania by Higher Education Institutions, County School Inspectorates, County Agencies for Payments and Social Inspection, County Employment Agencies, County Public Health Directorates, competent authorities for regulated professions, and other relevant authorities in the field of professional qualifications.
