A new IMI session dedicated to inter-institutional cooperation

Representatives of the National Centre for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED) organised, on 11–12 June, the second training session for users of the IMI System, an event held at Transilvania University of Brașov.

On this occasion, representatives of higher education institutions and of the County School Inspectorates benefited from presentations on updates to the IMI platform and the implementation of the associated procedures. Examples of good practice were also presented, intended to help strengthen competences in managing cross-border requests.

The first day of the session included presentations delivered by CNRED and by the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR), focusing on:

  • Good practices regarding the enrolment of European citizens in studies, and case studies concerning the admission to Romanian higher education of graduates from accredited international upper-secondary education systems.
  • The functionalities of the ROePAS platform, developed by the ADR for the electronic interconnection of universities and school inspectorates with CNRED procedures.

The second day was dedicated exclusively to the IMI System, covering the configuration of EU Login with two-step authentication, the transmission of information requests and replies through IMI, a presentation of the alert mechanism provided for by Directive 2005/36/EC, and the use of the Internal Market Scoreboard.

The next IMI user training session – for the County Agencies for Payments and Social Inspection, the County Employment Agencies, the Public Health Directorates, and other competent authorities in the field of regulated professions — is scheduled for early September, in Bucharest.
