35 years of existence of the NARIC network, 25 years of the ENIC network and 15 years for the Network Charter

The member centers of the NARIC networks met on 29th of November in Brussels, at the annual meeting organized by the European Commission, with the support of the European Council and UNESCO. The meeting marked the 35th anniversary of the date of setting up the NARIC network, 25 years from the date of the establishment of the ENIC network and 15 years from the date of adoption of the Network Charter, during which were presented the most important moments and actions initiated and implemented for recognition of studies, in conjunction with future projects focused on academic mobility and internationalization of higher education.

Relocation of refugees in the context of European and national policies on migration and asylum

Today, 27th of November, the representatives of CNRED participated in the meeting dedicated to the relocation of refugees on the territory of Romania, organized in Bucharest by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) - the Romanian Office, together with the Shottener Foundation and with the support of the General Inspectorate for Immigration.

The National Center for the Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas recently celebrated 20 years of activity, 20 years of "Correct information - the key to the recognition of studies". Worldwide Expansion of Recognition Centers - Japan opens its own National Academic Recognition Information Center

Since 1st of September, based on the Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the recognition of qualifications in higher education (known as the Tokyo Convention), Japan has inaugurated the National Academic Recognition Information Center to provide information on higher education qualifications in Japan, thus facilitating their recognition worldwide.

8th meeting of the Lisbon Convention Committee on Recognition of Studies in Higher Education

The UNESCO headquarters hosted recently in Paris the work of the 8th meeting of the Lisbon Convention Committee on Recognition of Higher Education Studies. The Lisbon Convention is currently ratified by 54 states in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and other regions of the world, since Romania has been a signatory since 1998.
